Delivery of a complete robotic automation cell to the plastic injection industry

An automation that simulates the production operation of two-material plastics, using two normal injection molding machines (two-component injection molding).

The automation was delivered to the company DASYC AE, a company specialized in the production of plastics for industrial use.

The integrated robotic automation intelligently connects two injection machines and a dedicated metal washer supply device. The automation receives the washers, deposits them in the first injection machine for overmoulding and receives the finished part. He then places the overmoulded product in a second machine where the second material is injected and receives the finished products, which then are placed on a conveyor belt to be taken out of the automation cell for inspection and packaging.

The safety functions of the cell are taken over by FANUC's certified controller, while the entire automation is coordinated by a PLC from the German company Beckhoff.
